The new A4.5 is the perfect match for the other models where a compact onwall speaker is needed. For the A4.5 Chane selected a substantial 5.25" midwoofer and matched it to our remarkable planar
tweeter. The A4.5 is the perfect mate.
Matched-size 5.25" midwoofer: The A4.5 doesn't use a smaller driver for this important task. The A4.5's main driver is well choosen for use above 80Hz.
Chane's planar leaf tweeter: High surface area, vanishingly low mass, and extreme treble extension. Faster, more detailed treble to over 30kHz.
Premium crossover: Large-gauge inductors, higher grade poly film capacitors, and special audio-grade resistors support Chane's superior tech.
Sealed wedge cabinet: Install or fly the A4.5 from
either its twin steel keyholes or from the threaded steel inserts on a standard 100mm VESA pattern. Matching sim. black ash finish and rotatable tweeter and grille make for perfect looks.
The Chane A4.5 may be used either end up and the black knit grille installs either way too. Rotate the tweeter 90 degrees to use the A4.5 horizontally.
The new Chane A4.5 is specifically designed to be a compact speaker for use above 80Hz - surround, effects, channel, even as a desktop speaker with a small subwoofer. 100% Chane design gives the A4.5
Chane's usual smooth acoustical character and big acoustical image for extra channels like surround, effects, and more.

A4.5's planar leaf tweeter has an aluminum faceplate lens for tighter, smoother response to well beyond 30kHz. The crossover incorporates extensive CAD and hand-tuning for realistic images And a large sound stage. Gold-plated twist terminals accept thick gauge audio cables, and the A4.5 includes optional bumpers and space for wire
management. The A4.5 is finished in the same stealthy simulated black ash as the rest of the line.
The A4.5 is designed to install either end up - aim it in normal configuration or flip it over and hang it to fire down.
Primarily an onwall surround speaker with two built-in mounting provisions, Chane gave the A4.5 the same design elements and tuning to compliment the other A models' natural, open, dynamic sound.
